Transport for Wales takes bikes on its trains, normally two per train with some restrictions in peak periods. Reservation is strongly recommended though on many trains bikes will be taken on a ‘first come, first serve basis’. No charge for carriage is raised.

BEACH FORECAST & TIDE TIMES

Being aware of the tide times while walking on the Wales Coast Path is very important as parts of the path can become inaccessible during very high tides. We recommend that you check the local tide times before setting off to make sure you’re prepared, and if you’re ever unsure about your route, don’t risk it, as the tide can rise quicker than you might expect.

Please click on this link for local beach forecast and tide times.

WALES COASTAL PATH

The white dragon shell logo is on all path way-markers so you can easily recognise it on your travels along the Wales Coastal Path.
